Greetings
and salutations,
As you have entered here, one can but assume that you wish to
learn more about the exciting life of being a "Jack of all
Trades" What? Thieves?
Oh,
no. No one here is a thief. And as I look about to my compatriots,
Cutter, Switchback, The Shrew, and that other gentleman in the
corner who won't give a name, they're all shaking their heads
in the negative. So, no thieves here.
No, here we talk about the interesting fields of locksmithing,
wall climbing, dagger wielding, and merchandicing. As a 'Jack
of all Trades' you need to learn the finer arts of appraising,
balance, and using ropes also. It wouldn't hurt your survival
chances if you knew how to be quiet when the time was right, as
well as, hiding when things got scary. We can teach you about
designing customes and the proper use of make-up, but only for
festival purposes of course. Many of us here know a thing or two
about understanding and comprehending a foriegn language, in written
form, when we must.
We can work with you in learning to dodge object that have been
thrown your way... a good thing to know in a bar fight. Right?
Hey, we even will give you pointers on how to use magical items
and scrolls without ever having to spend all those years cooped
up in a mage's tower. But as for the skills of a thief? Not being
a thief, I wouldn't know the first thing about that.
Assassins? Assassins! Ha ha haw...oh boy! No, no. We don't know
anything about them. But let me direct your attention to my unnamed
friend. He can get your mind off of such foolish thoughts about
assassins, by showing you some of his unique talents. He can train
you in shooting crossbows of many different sizes, and what poisons
and chemical components to...uh, avoid. He can show you how to
sneak up on someone, for when your playing tag obviously. He does
have many other skills but he stays to himself mostly. Perhaps
he'll open up to you.
Bards? Now that we have here, my boy! Bards. Minstrels and jugglers.
Pure poets and singers. Storytellers, comedians, and entertainers
of all types. But none of those unsavory types that would steal.
No, my friends are nothing like them...(Hey if you guys are going
to be laughing so much you can just leave...you too, Switchback.)
Anyways, the friends I'm talking about can share with you poems,
song lyrics, and heroic stories. They will also show you how to
play intruments and even cast a spell or two.
So if you wish to learn to be a "Jack of all Trades", welcome.
If you wish to share your own knowledge and ideas use the form
provided. And the most important thing to remember is no one here
is a thief. Oh, we may borrow things from time to time, but we're
no thieves.
