Ah,
the power of the most basic elements of the the world. Fire, Water,
Earth, Air, Positive, and Negative powers. Of them all, Fire has the
most power, that is why I choose it over the others. But even the
others have there uses. Why a normal mage must collect and use costly
and ever more difficult to acquire materials to cast the power of
there spells through, We elementalsts need only to draw the power
from the element we love so. A simple spell such as Find Familiar
makes a poor mage work so hard for it, collecting numerous herbs and
spend a great deal of time casting the spell, while When I cast the
spell to get my familiar, I needed to simply build a large bonfire,
admittedly I had to burn the same herbs to invoke the spell, but It
cut casting time in half, and My Familiar was more than worth the
herbs! I cannot be burned by anything short of the most powerful fires,
and My spells can do so much more! No wonder the others envy me so.

The
Elementalest wizards are a sub-class that have learned to draw and
control energies from the Elemental Planes of existence. Fire, Water,
Earth, Air, Positive, and Negative are all the planes known to be
draw-able from, though it has not yet been established if thats
all there are. Each elementalest must have all the requirements to
be a mage, and have met the requirements of the Element they are to
draw from.
Fire
Elementalest: Men and women who draw there power from the
Elemental Plane of Fire. Due to the destructive nature of fire itself,
they are a chaotic set of people, having hot-tempered and impulsive
character traits. Generally (though not always) they tend to enjoy
the sight of a large fire burning. These elementalest gain a +1 to
all saves against fire, and take 1 to each die of damage from
fire. However due to thier particular alignment to the fire elemental
plane, they have a particular weakness to Water based magics.
They take a +1 to each die of damage from water based magic and a
1 to all saves against water based magic.
Water
Elementalest: Men and women who draw there power from the
Elemental Plane of Water. Due to the more calming power of water itself
, they are a passive set of people, having a societal moral code.
Generally (though not always) they tend to enjoy the sight of a large
lake or waterfall flowing. These elementalest gain a +1 to all saves
against water, and take 1 to each die of damage from water.
However due to thier particular alignment to the water elemental plane,
they have a particular weakness to fire based magics. They take
a +1 to each die of damage from fire based magic and a 1 to
all saves against fire based magic.
Earth
Elementalest: Men and women who draw there power from the
Elemental Plane of Earth. Due to the more passive power of Earth itself
, they are a calm set of people, having an individualistic Moral Code.
Generally (though not always) they tend to enjoy the sight of a large
mountain or cliff. These elementalest gain a +1 to all saves against
Earth based damage, and take 1 to each die of damage from Earth
magics. However due to thier particular alignment to the Earth
elemental plane, they have a particular weakness to Air based magics.
They take a +1 to each die of damage from Air based magic and a 1
to all saves against Air based magic.
Air
Elemntalest: Men and women who draw there power from the
Elemental Plane of Air. Due to the more controlled power of Air itself
, they are a orderly set of people, having Country as one of there
top two priorities. Generally (though not always) they tend to enjoy
the sight of a clear and open space. These elementalest gain a +1
to all saves against Air based damage, and take 1 to each die
of damage from Air magics. However due to there particular alignment
to the Air elemental plane, they have a particular weakness to Earth
based magics. They take a +1 to each die of damage from Earth
based magic and a 1 to all saves against Earth based magic.
Positive
Elementalest: Men and women who draw there power from the
Elemental Plane of Positive energy. Due to the more good power of
Positive energy itself , they are a orderly set of people, having
Friends and Family as one of there top two priorities. Generally (though
not always) they tend to enjoy the sight of people doing good things.
These elementalest gain a +1 to all saves against Positive based damage,
and take 1 to each die of damage from Positive magics.
However due to thier particular alignment to the Positive elemental
plane, they have a particular weakness to Negative based magics.
They take a +1 to each die of damage from Negative based magic and
a 1 to all saves against Negative based magic.
Negative
Elementalest: Men and women who draw there power from the
Elemental Plane of negative energy.Due to the more evil power of Negative
energy itself , they are a destructive set of people, having self
as one of there top two priorities and are Arragant. Generally (though
not always) they tend to enjoy the sight of people doing unpleasant
things. These elementalest gain a +1 to all saves against Negative
based damage, and take 1 to each die of damage from Negative
magics. However due to thier particular alignment to the Negative
elemental plane, they have a particular weakness to Positive based
magics. They take a +1 to each die of damage from Positive based
magic and a 1 to all saves against Positive based magic.
Casting
Spells: Most spells do not have a natural basis; others,
such as Fireball Do have a naturally elemental basis.
For the spells that are naturally elemental base, have to be adapted
to be drawn from the new plane. The spell fireball, when cast by a
water elemental, becomes Water Ball doing the same basic
damage as fire ball, but using a concentrated blast of water instead
of fire. This waterball will also have a varying degree
of effects, such as drenching the target with water, similar to the
affect fireball has on flammable in the area, other elmentalets must
adapt these spells, and similar ones, to thier own elementals. No
changes in any spells affect the damage, duration, area of effect,
or any other basic stat of the spell, mealy the form in which the
spell acts.
When casting
a spell that does not have a natural elemental effect, such as the
spell Find Familiar, these spells must be cast into a large amount
of the element they draw there power from. For example. A Earth elementalest
who wishes to cast Find familiar, must collect the large amount of
herbs, then travel to a mountain, cliff, or any other large symbol
of the earth, cast the herbs into or over the earth and cast the spell
through it. Water elmentalest cast there spells into lakes or oceans,
fire elementalest into fires of varying sized, and air elmentlest
into storms or heavy winds (Simply casting into the air is not sufficient
in this case though..)
There are several
spells without any appreciable elemental component or the time to
find the specific components (ex. Grease, web, etc.). These spells
cannot be cast by an elementalest. Thought there are tales told of
elemental versions of of these spells, however, no evidence of such
spells have arisen over the years.
