Description: Malignant Grendals, large bipedal beasts that stand roughly
around 9' foot in hight though they appear to be haunched over as though
between standing and preparing to run on all fours. they have dark crimson
scales, white eyes and gleaming silver teeth which can be seen as they
have no lips. best described by one man as walking dragons as indeed
their haeds do look reptilian in shape although they are not related
to dragons at all.
these creatures were created centuries ago by an evil sorcerer name
Sacren who created an army of these terrifying biological killing machines.
Their resistance to magic came from the need to protect them from the
mighty magics of his contemporaries. the scales are like a substance
known as adamantium as are the teeth so very little can harm them. increadibly
strong and fast the grendals have a number of abilities that make them
truly terrifying.
any who sees a grendal must save vs fear or be paralysed by fear and
shock. the grendal can also climb walls much like a lizard can. in battle
a roll of 18 or more results in the loss of the opponents limb as the
savage strength of a grendal is capable of taking mansized opponents
appart. the attack are in order claw/claw/bite/tail. if reduced to -10
the grendal must make a save vs death (treat as a level 15 warrior)
if it saveds it may stay up an additional round. also the grendal regenerates
4hp a round.
