Dragonus and Zendra check their rooms quickly for traps, and finding
none gave entrance to the others so that they may sleep. Their
night's fun was but a diversion for the work that lay ahead. A time
of merriment knowing that serious business was soon to be done, and
if they failed their life would be forfeit, so why not enjoy
themselves. Perhaps for the last time.

The sun lanced archs of bright beams deep into their rooms when
morning came. Heads sore and tongues raw from heavy drinking.
Dragonus and Zendra only gave full cheer to greet the new day, at
the cost of pain to the others. This, of course, only made it all
the more fun to the two thieves to speak a little louder than
normal, or move things about a little less cautiously. For their
trouble they recieved curses and thrown objects in their direction.

Quentin ordered an unusual assortment of items from room service
when the boy appeared to take their breakfast order. The others kept
their meal light and far from anything fatty or salt ridden. Upon
getting their meal delivered, Quentin threw together his collection
of herbs, sauces, and friuts into a bowl and proceeded to grind them
into a crude drink. After taking his share he passed it around to
the others, claiming it would clear their heads and elimenate the
aches of their fun last night.

Each in turn took their turn at the bitter-sweet concoction and in a
short time they felt much better...

They were just about to get up from their breakfast table when a
knock was heard at the door. Dragonus took care in opening the door,
only to find JP standing beyond it. The boy had a huge smile on his
face that did not reach into his eyes, and gave Dragonus a child-
like embrace.

The thief shook his hand thru the boy's hair and with great skill in
acting, placed a sense of worry into his voice when he said, "My boy
wherever have you been... I was beginning to think we wouldn't see
thee again."

JP disengaged himself from Dragonus and paced quickly into the room.
In a voice for all to hear the boy said, "I have found where the
cloaked man you seek keeps company with another of his evil kind...
in the woods, in a cabin. I have found your cabin for you!"

The group all looked at each other... so it begins.

JP stopped and looked at Dragonus in a curious fashion, `Why would
you think that. I live here in town.'

The others were a little surprised by this response. JP was acting
like nothing had been out of the ordinary, Dragonus quickly
backtracked and came up with an excuse for he action. `Naw lad we
thought that we would have been out of this Town by now, but
something came up that kept us here longer then we expected. An
unexpected windfall, that was why we were celebrating last night.'

As Dragonus raised his voice towards the end there were a few groans
from the group. JP looked around as if in shock at the state the
group was in. But then a slight smile creased his face, and a look of
evil intent flashed across his eyes, but it was quickly hidden. If
Dragonus hadn't been watching for it he might have missed it.

`Come on in lad you can join us over breakfast and tell us all the
news of your doings.'

JP smiled and nodded entering the room. Dragonus shook his head as he
followed behind, it was like leading a lamb to the slaughter, but it
should be better for him.
